C# Backend Developer

We at Red Rift love what we do, and we are engaged in full cycle game development, and creating game content. Our company was founded in 2019 in Michigan. We are completely remote business with a team of 100+ like-minded people who share the importance of creativity, responsibility for results and boundless love for games. Now we are looking for a talented C# Backend Developer, who will join the team to work on various projects in our studio.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a C# Backend Developer. The Developer will be responsible for gameplay mechanics and tools, as well as optimizing the overall game performance. More details about the project can be found out during the interview.

Requirements

• Fluency in C# and ASP.NET core
• Experience with recent ASP.NET WebAPI versions.
• Proven experience in creating secure and robust but remixable REST APIs
• Experience with SignalR or WebSockets.Proficiency in PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with DevOps technologies (Docker, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline
• Proven experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment
• Experience with Redis and RedLock implementation
• Proficiency in working with Azure services
• Strong background in unit, integration, and load testing

Would be a plus

• Understanding the basics of development using Blazor
• A passion for gaming
• Knowledge of microservices and microservices architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• Experience hosting services in the cloud

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain backend systems
• Implement and optimize server infrastructure for performance and scalability
• Work with databases, including designing and optimizing database schemas
• Ensure the security and robustness of backend systems
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
